From Policy to action:
NPI (new product introduction) with Quality activities such as
PFMEA (process failure Mode and Effect Analysis), Control plans, Estimated Quality Level calculation, Supplier qualification process etc.
Skilled operators who is trained and certified in workmanship standards as IPC 610 revision E
We have documented procedures to comply with international standards, Regulations and products approvals, such as ISO 9001, 14001, 18001, ATEX, UL, ETL, CSA, CCC, CQC, RoHS, Reach.
We use process Capability studies, Statistical Process Control (SPC), Sampling plans, Yield measurements to visualize process quality and set up activities for continue improvements.
In our production we have small quality loops though LEAN manufacturing, small order sizes and production cells with balanced workplaces. Reaction plans to issue production stop.
We plan production and test to eliminate failures with preventive tools instead of manually visual inspection.
We use 8D analyses for problem solving and claim handling.
CQI (Continue Quality Improvement) meetings to achieve long term improvements.
Our traceability system gives us information from the serial number on the finished product to purchase orders on the components used. From the serial number on the finished product we are able to trace back on rework information, First Time Yield on measuring points in production + flow control.
Twice a year we perform Management review to present our Quality Performance, New requirements from customers etc.. Output from the meeting are documented with decisions and agreed activities to keep our Quality System suitable and sufficient to meet the demands from customers and standards.
We categorize our suppliers, perform audit, set up quality agreements on our key suppliers.
All in all you can say that our aspiration is to do it right the first time every time.
