BB Electronics has a unique prototype set-up, which provides the ideal transition from design, development and prototyping to the initial production runs. Our DFM focus and integrated procedures enable you to ramp up effectively, with all the predictable glitches ironed out in advance.

BB Electronics has prototype building as one of its focus areas in providing DesignLink services to customers.  We see it as an important way to help customers being more competitive and with the complexity and miniaturization of modern electronics, it is of paramount importance, that quality level is 100% and prototypes are delivered in very short time. 

BB Electronics has a shop in shop concept for making prototypes, where a dedicated team with own small quantity quick purchasing, autonomously planning and customer communication, a separate dedicated SMT, HMD and Box build assembly line is available 24 / 7 for prototype build. 

Besides state of the art technology and dedicated equipment all factory equipment like flying probe tester, AOI vision and 3D x-ray equipment is available in the factory. A further feature is that the prototypes are assembled on the same type of equipment that is used in the series production at BB Electronics factories in Horsens and Suzhou, China. This has the advantage that an eventually later volume production is much easier transferred and double start up cost can be avoided.
